Team President, Alan Friedman was not present, but offered the following statement, “Professional hockey in Danbury is a very exciting proposition. We are in it for the long haul and we will do whatever it takes to be successful. These are the best fans in hockey and I look forward to meeting them.”

Also announced was that fans who sign up with the team for season tickets before 1/31/10 will receive $50 off and will lock in their rate ($300) for the lifetime of their season tickets. Sorcher commented, “The reaction has been overwhelming. When we tell people that they will never pay more then $300 for the life of their season ticket, they are blown away.”
